That's why we're incredibly excited to announce our latest collaboration with Aroma Craft Coffee, a beloved local business right in our neighboring community of Walnut, CA. This partnership was never just about commerce, it’s a testament to our shared belief that it is vital to strengthen local ties and help make a real difference in the lives of our customers. So, how did we find the opportunity to collaborate with an adored small business in the Walnut community? Edison Tsang, Home Zone Living's marketing and engagement specialist, recognized a great opportunity and didn’t hesitate to act on it.
As he brainstormed for potential collaboration opportunities, a lightbulb went off for Ed: he remembered he personally knew Tiffany Long, the general manager of Aroma Craft Coffee. He immediately saw the potential for a dynamic, influential partnership. What happened next exceeded all expectations: Tiffany not only embraced the idea but also connected him directly with owner Winnie Huang, and from there, our collaboration with Aroma Craft Coffee truly began. Over the course of collaborating with Aroma, we had the privilege of getting to better know Winnie, her story, as well as the story and values of her dear cafe and sweets shop.
Winnie Huang, owner of Aroma Craft Coffee since 2014 and co-founder of Sweets by Aroma Craft since 2024, is a Taiwanese immigrant who moved to the United States in pursuit of her vision of the American Dream. She has always had a deep passion for coffee and tea. What began in 2014 as a home roasting project, a simple pursuit of personal joy, soon blossomed into something far grander than Winnie ever imagined. In building Aroma Craft Coffee, Winnie found a way to combine her passion with her career. She created a space that beautifully blends the pursuit of the American Dream with a deep tribute to her roots, proving that these two concepts are not mutually exclusive. This tribute is most evident in Aroma’s menu, where her Taiwanese heritage inspires offerings like the popular Taiwanese Sausage Sandwich or Salad. They also offer Black Tea, Jasmine Tea, and Oolong Tea, all sourced from Nantou, Taiwan.
Over time, Aroma Craft Coffee expanded its offerings and gained significant popularity. This growth naturally led to an evolution of their coffee and food menu, designed to meet the increasing demands of their loyal customers. Today, locals recognize Aroma Craft Coffee as an establishment that seamlessly combines a coffee roaster, coffee shop, and brunch cafe into one vibrant space.

But Winnie's vision didn't stop there. Beyond enhancing their food and drink selections, Aroma Craft also expanded its physical presence by helping open Sweets by Aroma Craft. Located just a few doors down from the main cafe, this new venture serves as a dedicated extension of their pastry and cake offerings. When asked about the inspiration behind this sweet expansion, Winnie explained, "We wanted to create a more casual environment for customers looking just to grab and go or have a simple treat without needing the entire sit-down experience."
